For twenty years the 3 Sisters Trekking Agency has been training female guides and porters. They empower Nepali women by enabling them to work and they show men that they belong on the treks too. How important their effort is I was shown on my twelve days trek to Annapurna Basecamp.

11 days of “nepali flat”, grubby guesthouses, stomach bugs, but also incredible mountain views to make up for anything many times. Himalayas, I will be back!
The Murgseen Round Trail is one of my alltime favourite nice and easy hikes. It takes about 5 hours to do the round trip and takes you through some beautiful remote alpine valleys. So with the wheather being all nice and late summery two weeks ago, we hit this round trail once again.
